Water, that most basic and vital of our resources, is in increasingly shorter supply and greater demand. EDN's "Water For Life" campaign aims to increase awareness and stewardship of local, national, regional and global water resources. The What's-In-Your-Water Toolkit - Educators, students and community members can get ready for Earth Day by measuring the health of local water resources. EDN has prepared a comprehensive guide to water quality, with suggestions for citizen action from the local to the global scale.

Ten Thirsty Children & Community Water Stories - Our stories of ten children from ten countries around the world highlight the critical issues of water access, health, and usage.
Our Community Water Stories highlight water issues from around the globe, each story presenting a problem and its possible solutions. The goal of EDN's Community Water Stories is to illustrate how communities can overcome water problems through education and action.

Global Water Network:  The Global Water Network is a comprehensive resource to raise awareness about water issues and to raise funds to help build water and sanitation projects where they are needed most. From helping a rural community get its first well to providing toilets and hand-washing facilities for schools, the Global Water Network provides a way for people to make a difference. Here you can donate directly to water projects, access key water articles and reports, link to country-specific water data, read news feeds, discuss water issues in the forum, and access global water happenings in the events calendar.
